… time to prepare for Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day.

Got about 6 (yes, *6*) bears to finish up for Valentine’s Day.  I also have a “bird” sculpture that I want to replicate (love the one I already made so much, I want to keep it) and put up for auction soon, because…

It’s time to prepare for VEGAS!!  With both Tony and I going this year, the entry fees alone are gonna be over $550, if not more.  We are driving up this year so that Tony’s dad can go with us.  So we need gas money, food money, extra hotel room on the way, as well as the hotel rooms for a week when we get there. (we need 2 rooms, Howard snores and YELLS in his sleep!)

I’ll post the auction links when I get everything ready… probably this weekend!

This weekend finds our hero and hero-ette preparing for a full slate of tournaments!

• Friday = 8pm @ Susie’s in Denison, TX
• Saturday = 3pm @ Luke’s in Sherman, TX… $500 added
• Sunday = 3pm @ Luke’s Ladies Only 9-Ball

The next weekend is the next stop on the OB Cues Ladies 9-Ball Tour at Rusty’s in Arlington, TX.

We are getting ready for Halloween!  I love this time of year.  Our house is almost ready, take a look:

We need more pumpkins… which I’m working on.  I am making a few more papier mache pumpkins for decorating the AmVets Post #47 for the annual Kids’ Halloween Party that I am in charge of for the 3rd year…

Always Remember.

Finally finished Katie’s birthday quilt.   It’s a tad larger than a twin, and I pretty much made it “on the fly”.  I had sketched out a rough pattern, but the border didn’t “feel” right.  So I adjusted while I made it.   I wish I had taken more pictures during the process of making it, because I’m thinking of writing out a pattern for sale to go with it.  Maybe… maybe not…

I started my “Wreck This Journal”… I got it in the mail on Monday (8-17-2009) and began on Tuesday during Tony’s chemo treatment…

HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY HAPPY HAPPY JOY!!! Tony is DONE with his chemo treatments!!! (knock wood everyone!) He has to have a catscan next month to make it official, but... unofficially... HE'S DONE WITH CHEMO!!!

I’m ready for the next OB Cues Ladies 9-Ball Tour Stop!!  It’s in Waco on August 29th & 30th.

To pay for expenses, I have 4 bears up on eBay until Aug 24th.  I need some gas money to go from Sherman to Waco and back, then some food and beverage money to get both Tony and I through the weekend.  My mother sponsored me by paying for the hotel and donated back to me 2 of the bears up for auction.  I would LOVE to pay her back for the hotel, also.

Just got my “Wreck This Journal” in the mail today… FINALLY jumped on the creative band wagon and ordered one… I’m not “behind”… I’m fashionably late… yea me!

I think I’ll take a cue from some wonderful bloggers on my (very long) list of blogs that I follow and actually blog on my progress… maybe… if I remember to…
